I will be using this as a photographic mat with an Egyptian style piece of wall art. The papyrus papers are very nice quality. I have traveled to Egypt before and purchased several pieces of hand painted art on papyrus and this product is just as well made. I definitely recommend it.
When I opened the package and started going through them to pick out the best ones for my first project, I had a hard time choosing. They were all pretty straight, had nice colouring (just like in the photos they supplied), only thing I'd point out is that one side was cut (along the long side), but that did not cause issues. there was no abnormal smells, staining or notable flaws, even had an extra sheet which I gave to my daughter to use. This took ink and paint well (using natural binders).
This item is just what I was looking for! The materials arrived perfectly packaged (and quickly) and it's very well-made papyrus. Thanks!
