    Perfect for teaching Ancient Egypt

    I bought this for my unit on Egypt. My kids think this is really neat because we talked about papyrus. I like that you can see that it is really made of reeds. It is sturdy and has 2 layers.

    The papyrus was perfect for our unit on the development of writing. I cut each piece in half lengthwise, and each student wrote their first name in hieroglyphics. Visitors had fun guessing whose name was whose.
