- وهى المشكلة التى بلغ التعبير عنها ذروته فى أسطورة المفتش الاكبر فى الإخوة كارامازوف . ففى هذيانات "إيفان" ظهر رجل هو ضد للمسيح ، وهو رجل له روح محبة للبشر ، وله رسالة روحية تشبه رسالة المسيح ، ولكنه يرى أن المسيح حمّل الناس آلاما أكبر منهم ، ودافعه فى رسالته كان الغرور
